Summary: Pretty, but...............
I was pleasantly surprised to find this item. Ordered one and am definately pleased with the appearance of the ring in the biorb. BUT after having it in there a few weeks I'm fighting a battle of green tinted water. Nothing else in the tank is new so has to be from the plant ring. Not sure how the "tint" will effect the fish so removing the ring to be safe........... money wasted.

Summary: Great for baby biorb
I took out the other decor in my baby orb (never look quite right), and this made it look complete. This fits great and looks perfect...this was a great addition to my biorb.

Summary: Plant ring a positive addition.
I didn't even know this product existed! I stumbled across it looking for more filter sets for my daughters baby biorb. She was pleased to see this, as it makes the center tube less obvious, and the tank looks greener now. Weighted bottom keeps it steady, and the value for the cost seems appropriate.
